Here are some words from Carl Krajniak, Jar Show

Program Chairman, to explain how the Jar Shows work.

The purpose of having jar shows is to have a friendly

competition among club members.  Being in competition

can enhance your skills in learning the difference

between nice fish and show fish.  It's also a nice

way to show off the fish you're keeping at home.

Participation in jar shows is also a way to encourage

you, as members, to enter your fish and aquatic life into

the open show competitions of other area clubs, whenever

the opportunity arises.

Experienced members of G.D.A.S. will be asked to

judge the jar shows.  It's a great way to train the eye

in looking for that something extra that makes an

entry a winner.

Participation in the Jar Show Program, win or loose,

makes everyone a winner, you're the glue that makes

G.D.A.S. strong, BE ACTIVE!
