Program Overview

The Greater Detroit Aquarium Society Breeders Award Program

is established to recognize outstanding achievement in the

breeding of various aquarium organisms.  The program is non-

competitive; no one wins and no one looses.  Each aquarist moves

at his or her own pace to the award goal of his or her own choosing.

To qualify for awards, an aquarist should follow the schedule below:

I.          Breeder Award..........................................50 points

            30 points from Class A and 20 points from Class B

II.         Advanced Breeder Award..........................100 points

             Must complete Breeder requirements and add at least

             30 points from Classes C or D.  The remaining points may

             be selected from any Class.

III.        Expert Breeder Award...............................300 points

             Must complete requirements for both Breeder and Advanced

             Breeder and add an additional 200 points selected from any of

             the Classes
